GILEAD GARMENTS & READYMADES

Gilead Garments & Readymades is an SSI unit  of garment manufacturing tempererly registered under Department of Industries,Kerala by Gilead Marian Orphanage & Retreat Centre, Vadakara. It's objective is to provide employement to womans through garment stitching. At present 22 womans from different sectors of the society are studing their  certificate course in cutting & tailoring  with the approval of Ministery of Human Resource,Govt. of India in Gilead Centre. For starting this unit, centre have a requirment of 20 sewing machines with a total cost of one lakh rupees. Centre is in look for sponcers/donors for purchasing machines fully or partially. Gilead Prayer Cell

Gilead Prayer Cell contains dedicated and spiritual members who are praying always for others. Requested prayer matters are submitting before God Almighty for solutions. And at the same time all the requests are remembering in every Holy Qurbana administering in Gilead Retreat Centre.

Gilead Bible school

Gilead Bible School is aimed to educated childrens and youth with prescribed syllabus of Malankara Orthodox Church. At Present classes 1 to 11 is running with total 50 students.Every sunday after Holy Qurbana, classes are arranged for 2 hours. For men and women, seperate course is going on called Divyabhodhanam for 2 years.Twenty one students are studing in this course.

Glead Times

Gilead Times  is a trimonthly magazine published from Gilead Marian Orphanage & Retreat Centre edited by Fr.Simon Varghese . It gives more information about retreat centre actvities and makes spiritual strengh to those who are not able to attend retreats in the centre. Around 2000 copies are circulating to various part of the country.

Gilead Vayobhavan

Gilead Vayobhavan is an old age & reteirment home attached to the retreat centre. At present 7 inmates are living their with peace and harmony. A new building with 5000 sqft is under construction for acccomadating more persons.Vayobhavan is caring the inmates with free accomadation, food and medical facilities and at the same time special rooms are available for financially sound persons.For more details contact to office. 

Gilead Retreat Centre

Gilead Retreat Centre is located on a hilltop surrouding with natural beauty in Vadakara near Koothattukulam, Ernakulam district of Kerala. The centre is a place of worship and enrichment through eastern liturgy to thousands of people. St.Peter's & St.Paul's Chappel is the source  of divine blessings of this centre. Holy Qurbana(Eucharist) is admistering here on all saturdays and sundays. Retreats in every saturday gives more enlightment to those who came their. To bear the expense of  saturday's Holy Qurbana and Retreat, one have to pay 1500/- in advance. Mother Mary is specially remembering and respecting here in the prayers.

           Holy Qurbana             :         9am to 11.30 am
